Tell us your full name and nickname that your family and friends love to call you by?
Komal Umang Soni: My full name is Komal Umang Soni. I am a wife and a mother of two teenagers, one daughter and one son. Depending on who you ask, I am lovingly called Koms, Komu, Komi, Kuku, TheKomalDotCom, and sometimes Creative Komal because creativity has always been such a big part of my life.

What field are you in professionally?
Komal Umang Soni: I am a lifestyle content creator with a passion for fashion, beauty, art, culinary experiences, and culture. Through my social media platforms, I share my experiences, creative projects, and inspirations. I also manage two dedicated pages, Komals Kreation, where I showcase food and culinary content, and Komals Kreativity, where I share my love for paintings, rangolis, and creative expression.
How long have you been working in this field?
Komal Umang Soni: While I officially started my content creation journey in January 2026, creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Art, dance, fashion, and creative expression have always been at the heart of who I am.
Please describe yourself in a few words.
Komal Umang Soni: Creative, multi-passionate, spiritual, optimistic, expressive, curious, and always eager to learn and grow.
Can you share a little about your journey and what inspired you to pursue your career or passion?
Komal Umang Soni: Creativity has been a part of me since childhood. I was always drawn to activities that allowed me to express myself, whether it was dancing, painting, creating rangolis, acting, experimenting with fashion, or exploring new places and cultures.
As the years passed, I realized creativity wasn’t simply a hobby; it was how I connected with the world around me. I love discovering beauty in everyday moments and sharing those experiences with others. Beginning my content creation journey felt like the most natural step because it allowed me to combine everything I love, from fashion and beauty to food, travel, art, and culture, while connecting with people who share the same passions.
What inspires me most is the opportunity to create meaningful content, inspire others, and build a positive community through authentic storytelling.

What were some of the biggest challenges you faced on your path, and how did you overcome them?
Komal Umang Soni: I consider myself incredibly fortunate because I have always had the unwavering support of my family. My family in India, my in-laws in Nairobi, my husband, and my children have all been my biggest cheerleaders.
Like many women, one of the biggest challenges was finding the confidence to begin something new while balancing family responsibilities and personal dreams. Starting my content creation journey meant stepping outside my comfort zone and believing in my own abilities.
The encouragement I received from my loved ones gave me the confidence to take that first step. It reminded me that growth begins the moment you decide to believe in yourself.
How do you prioritize self-care and wellness while balancing a demanding career and personal life?
Komal Umang Soni: For me, self-care is about creating moments of happiness and balance. I make time for the things that nourish both my mind and soul, whether that’s spending quality time with my family, praying, dancing, creating art, exploring fashion, traveling, or simply expressing myself creatively.
I also believe wellness starts from within. Gratitude, positivity, appreciation, and surrounding yourself with supportive people are just as important as any skincare routine or wellness practice.
What does beauty mean to you, and how has your relationship with it evolved over the years?
Komal Umang Soni: To me, beauty is confidence, authenticity, and kindness. It has never been about fitting into someone else’s definition of perfection but about feeling comfortable in your own skin and embracing who you truly are.
As I’ve grown, I’ve come to appreciate beauty in many forms. It’s reflected in creativity, compassion, resilience, and individuality. Today, beauty isn’t about comparison. It’s about expressing yourself fearlessly and celebrating everything that makes you unique.

What advice would you give to young women who are trying to find their confidence or pursue their dreams?
Komal Umang Soni: Believe in yourself, even before the results appear.
Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start where you are, use what you have, and trust that every small step matters. Stay curious, keep learning, and never be afraid to express your true self.
Most importantly, remember that your journey is uniquely yours. Comparison can steal your joy, but authenticity will always help you shine.
What are your go-to skincare tips or products that you swear by for keeping your skin glowing and healthy?
Komal Umang Soni: My skincare philosophy is simple: consistency over complexity. I focus on cleansing, moisturizing, staying hydrated, and getting enough rest.
I also believe healthy skin reflects a healthy lifestyle. Good nutrition, proper hydration, quality sleep, and managing stress all play an important role in maintaining healthy, glowing skin.
What’s next for you? Are there any projects, goals, or dreams you’re excited about and working towards?
Komal Umang Soni: I have recently begun my content creation journey, and I’m incredibly excited about the possibilities ahead. I’m currently working on a few exciting projects that I can’t reveal just yet, but they align perfectly with my passion for creativity.
My goal is to continue growing as a creator, inspiring and helping others through my work, and building a platform that celebrates creativity, culture, beauty, art, and positivity. This is only the beginning, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
